Hi guys,

I am starting my first BE season next spring, but was wondering how high SJ fences were, at both intro and PN level? Just out of interest!

Intro is 90cm with 2 fences up to 95cm
PN is 1m with 2 fences upto 1.05

For both classes the first few fence will be a bit smaller to get you going.

you can find all the rules, heights etc on the BE website, loads of info there.

I think you should make sure you get yourself a 2008 rule book as soon as they come out - there are lots of rules that can catch you out if you're not aware of them.
Watch out for the outside assistance rule - whether you ask for it or not, if someone assists you, you're out!!

Also look out for Eventing magazines guide to the season which should give you an idea of how difficult some courses are. Be mindful that most comments only seem to reflect the bigger classes rather than Intro, but it will give you an idea.
