i dont know if there are any more than these....but i was wondering what you though of
eventriders.com and eventingworldwide and which you think is better.

I read both but you don't get much info unless you are a member. The person who created or had a lot to do with eventriders.com left and created eventingworldwide. Sorry, can't give you much more than that

I write for eventing worldwide and subscribe to it, i think its well worth the money, the course pics are good for working out where to enter, the reports are good, lots of pics and i like the articles too.

Its only £30 a year thats less than £1 a week

i subscribed to eventriders.com for a year. suddenly my password stopped working, and they have ignored my emails about it.

now subscribe to eventriders.com, which is much better. course photos and riders' diaries are very good, i really enjoy the site, and would recommend it. they're usually first with results from big overseas events, too.

personally think you can get all the relevant info on here for nothing. the course photos are interesting but limited value when you can really gauge the size how they are situated and their relation to the other and it depends who takes them some of the photos are more from the rider point of view than others.

Agree I find on here very useful. I subscribe to none. I get a much more realistic answer about courses as well.

I agree with that. The main reason I joined was for the course photos but lots of them don't even bother taking the 2nd or 3rd elements of combinations which I think is pretty crap. You can't always see if there's an 'A' on the number either so it leaves you with little or no clue as to how hard the fences are. I was really disappointed with the course pics on the whole - often you can't see ditches in front of them etc. I must say, the pics I've taken of courses are much better! Sometimes a fence needs 2 pics to show what's involved. For £30 sub, I think we deserve that!

LOL i take course pics from a riders view which normally means i'm riding at the evnet and means that i'm rushing round the course so they're lucky to get them at all!! Still gives an idea i find.

Ditto! Plus the days I have to take them at an angle either to show the width or because of the position of the sun - so lots of mine are from one side.

BTW if you are a member and have CC about the site, why not email them and say what you'd like to see/what wants changing - they are open to suggestion you know, and unless you tell them, they won't know (not being psychic and all that).

The person who set up eventingworldwide did not set up eventriders.com!
