I use the prem equine aircooled ones, on a skinny legged 14.2 arab (he has small ones all round) and on a more chunky legged 16.2hh sports horse (irish legs!) and he has mediums in front and large behind.
another vote for premier equine - have front and back on both horses - super boots! Protection in all the right places. Have one with skinny legs and one with fat
I have the ventless Premier Equine Event Boots and I love them. My friend has the NEW ones and as far as I can see, they are the same, only cheaper!
I have the Mediums alll round on my 16.2hh ISH with fairly average bone and cannon length. I have a pair of Prem Equine Brushing Boots too and would say their sizing guide is pretty accurate if you have a 'normal' horse!
Ecogold in front, i've just bought them and i'm really really pleased with them. no nasty neoprene to make the legs sweat, for starters.
Premier Equine hinds but I might get a pair of Ecogold before starting eventing...
just bought a pair of racing Dalmars for turnout and i am really really impressed with them. the single closure is fantastic, why doesn't every manufacturer do that?
i've used Style boots for a long time too, and really rate them. I know some people say that they performed very badly in 'heating up the tendons' tests done at an event, but i noticed on Sunday that Andrew Nicholson had them on 1 of his 3 star horses...
i also use whichever short overreach boots fit that horse the best.
Trizone Tendon boots and WW brushing boots behind. I hate boots with the inserts as I have heard too many horror stories of them going into horses tendons etc.
