If yes what caused the fall? Horse jumped too bold off a CIC* drop and didnt get the landing gear out in time and crumpled on landing

Yes - cut cornary band on near hind leg

Returned to eventing 6months later

If yes how bad was it? What was the injury ? and did the horse return to eventing? Due to galloping over hard ground in the XC she developed mild tendon damage, which was not too serious, and after rest she can now carry on as normal.

..more emphasis on the dressage, sj courses bigger at the higher levels, xc courses more technical across all the levels, especially with the introduction of skinnies, and difficult fences (jumps into water, fences in water etc) being introduced at the lower levels - they used to be in the higher level courses only. courses are far more impressive than they used to be: bigger timber, sponsor's special fences, dressed fences.

Once on the flat, going round a corner.
Once when popping down a small step into water.
Never when jumping a fence.
If yes what caused the fall?.......
first one: muppet on top (me) tried to take a corner slightly too fast, horse was under-studded due to very hard ground.
second one: i think there must have been a hole in the base, or my horse trod on an overreach boot maybe, because she just disappeared into the water.

cut knees when we fell in the water. minor abrasions. returned to eventing.
struck into herself through a xc boot, at N level. returned to eventing.
slightly strained tendon and pulled back muscles when falling on the flat. returned to eventing.
