Eventing in the South East

I might be starting eventing again after a 9 year break. I can't believe how many events the South East has lost - Firle, Mattingly, Iping, Eridge, Brightling. Do Rackham and Pulborough still run Any others gone? I find this really sad

I don’t event or at least not BE level but there’s so many lost venues around the SE generally, and very few new ones. So yeah, sadly that is a sign of generally how things have gone.

Rackham and Coombelands still run am sure of it, as does Munstead (slightly further).

Firle still runs but the date has moved since the organisers changed. Pulborough no longer runs BE. Others lost include Ashurst, Brockenhurst, Crockstead,Petworth and Stilemans.

Rackham does still run, Pulborough/Coombelands doesn’t do BE anymore but does hold an RC ODE there, usually in May. It is sad the events lost over the years. Mattingley and Highclere were my fave venues when my retired boy was younger. Sad I won’t get to take my 7yo to them, liked Stilemans too.
