Hi folks. Am picking my next few events and am considering doing the be90 at milton keynes. Would be interested to hear peoples views of the venue and course as its a long way to travel. I have heard reports the ground is quite hard but then that is probably the case most places at the moment. Thanks.

Done several events at MKEC and the BE events are nice inviting courses and they flow really well. The staff at the centre try really hard with the ground by spiking it and putting sand down on the take off and landing sides of the fences. Really recommend the place.

Thats a nice positive response gone hunting, thank you! I am hoping that the owners are still investing time and effort into the events notwithstanding that they are stopping them after this year. Is that the impression you get from them?

Hi I did the BE100 on the 21st of June and it was as well run and friendly as when I first competed there four years ago. I hope to compete in August as it will be their last event

I went to the June event but ended up withdrawing after the dressage. The people are really lovely and they always do ther best with the ground etc. The courses are up to hight, colurful with flowers etc so if you have a nice bold horse you'll be fine. I though the June course had a few to many questions for a slightly green/baby horse.

They're still investing as the course will still be available to hire for schooling. Ground was a little firm on the hill but elsewhere there is good grass cover. Poor Fiona was still spiking the ground gone 7pm on the Friday night a couple of weeks ago. Worth a punt I'd say.
