Ok I have finaly caught the eventing bug!!! after many times of helping BBs out at events and other peeps, I thought I want to give this ago!

So I am going to enter for Shipton Moyne as they have an Open Intro so Ren can enter..

Has anyone been before? whats the course like? I have never done a One Day Event before.. Going to do a local One day in June so I can get a feel for everything.

I know all the Ins and Outs on Eventing, but never done a BE event before! And never been to this event..
 
Its a super event. When i went (first year) they didnt have intro. But the course is fabulous and very well presented.
All the top bods go and it has a great atmosphere.

Remember you are riding Ren, you are forming a great partnership, so that will make its slightly easier ie youre not riding something young and inexperienced.
You dont have an option, you MUST learn that ruddy test inside and out!!
Everything else will fall into place.

Oh yes enter, its lovely. Was disappointed when it didn't run last year, but great to see it back this year. Had a lovely day there, even though she did her worst dressage and stopped in the SJ - most unheard of, but sailed round the lovely XC course!! Looking forward to going this year - something tells me will need that ballot sticker on!!
 
This is my favourite event - it maybe because it was my first one as well! Cant wait for it this year. Thinking a'll be doing day before dressage though as only 30mins away from me.
