Eventing saddles & Optimus Shires Event saddle?

Hey guys,
can an eventing saddle be used for basically everything. Cause if you think about it, in eventing you do dressage, show jumping and cross country so can it be used for all those disciplines? It seems to be in more of a jumping shape but can it be used for all three of those disciplines?
ALSO
Anyone know if the shires optimus shires event saddle is kind to the HORSE & not just the rider? Is it comfortable for the horse & good to it's back and way of moving?

If you find it on ebay, it says it on there and they're a professional tack fitting service They said over the phone it comes with a free dressage saddle although the dressage saddle looks pretty rubbish! x
