I am finishing my second year at college around may-june and am then looking to become a working pupil. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions as to who would be the best person to apply to? I would love the opportunity to train and compete, so it would be great if this was available with the positon. I realise there needs to be a great deal of hard work and commitment with this sort of job, and i am really excited to be able to concentrate on eventing full time! I would really appreciate any info, thanks

Sorry no advice other than google top event riders names and use the contact details provided! I just wanted to say the bay in your picture is gorgeous!!
 
I think Bill Levett was looking for people or The Fredericks.. might be an idea. I know Lucy weigersma takes on people, but she's in Devon. Otherwise just try emailing some event riders.
 
Andrew Nicholson had one as far as I can remember but thats already been posted

My daughter spent all last year working at Warren Farm where Lucy Wiegersma's based nr Hatherleigh, and she had a great time and learned a huge amount.
They seem to work incredibly hard but play hard too.
It's not just an event yard they have breakers in as well and there are plenty of young people there which makes for a good atmosphere, lots of them live in so you wouldn't be lonely.
They get lots of tuition too, and taken to many events, if you're good enough you get rides.
