Went up to ride Bobby this evening after work and climbed onto water trough to get on as normal and somehow managed to launch myself into orbit stright over Bob's back and landed in a heap on the floor! Bob gave me 'Oh what are you doing now!' look and bogged off towards the gate to take himself for a hack!

Am very glad bf decided he didn't want to come for a walk!

Is it only me who does stupid things??????

LOL, the answer is yes.

My mum gave me a leg up bareback last weekend so I could ride April the last 5 mins from where we get dropped off after unloading and she chucked me right over the other side!

That was after I had got back from my ODE where I managed to lock the keys in the car inbetween the SJ and the XC with all the stuff I needed inside.
I am a liability!

haha plenty of times-main one when i chased a crow and was squaking at it-but someone did actually see!i saw them, and no kidding i just got straight on the ground and lay flat!!!!!lay there for a good 15 mins!

Not just you. I stood on water trough to get on bareback and actually slipped back into the water! Almighty splash and cut all my shin up

Also tried to get on with new saddle and girth, thought girth was up tight but my imense weight threw it and me backwards onto concrete mounting block!!

I am so very glad I am on my own sometimes

Absolutely - unfortunately I wasn't on my own! The other month my daughter couldn't get her pony over a double, so asked me if I could jump on and get her to go over it. So confident me said yes no problem. Unfortunately the stirrup length was set for my 12 year old daughter. I went over the first got totally unbalanced - pony did the second with me hanging on around her neck and then dipped her head on landing so there I was flat on my back with my daughter crying laughing. Just to save face however, I had to get back on and go and do a higher jump (sucessfully I might add). But she told everyone on her return home!! Ha Ha.
