Having a moment because I feel like I have EVERYTHING to do out of work, nothing to do in work and not enough time! Ahhhhhh!

For example, this is my day today:
6am wake, to stable muck out, turnout, hay and feed done for this evening, hay and water in the field.
7am, home, walk the dogs
7:30am shower, change etc.
8am, arrive at work
12:00 lunchtime. Bombed into town, went to the bank, went to specsavers to collect some new specs, collect DJ for hubby to wear to ball tomorrow night... got delayed and was late back to work (oops!)
14:00 back at work to sit here for the rest of the day, with nothing to do other than flit between here, my email and facebook

16:30 will finish work, straight home to let dogs out to toilet
17:00 get to stables, get in my horse and someone elses, put to bed
17:30(!) am supposed to be meeting mum at the supermarket to do a food shop (oh the joys). I've not got a hope in hell of making this time have I?
18:30-19:00, back to stables, wake horse up and ride, as no time to do it earlier
20:30 get home to hubby, put shopping away, walk dogs, make dinner, eat dinner, bath and then bed I reckon!
NOT ENOUGH HOURS IN THE DAY, or rather there would be, if I didn't have to sit here all bloody afternoon! Grrrr!
Is it just me that has this problem?!
Hot chocolate with a shot of baileys in for all that made it through my rant!

LOL!

If only it wasn't neccessary to have to work,, in order that I have stuff to do after work, i.e. horse to ride, food to buy.

So glad it's not just me! I do often wonder if I make life hard for myself

Thats the bugger.....have a job for money for horses....no bloomin' time left for the horses....

At the moment I am out of work nursing broken bones, but reading your post, it's such a familiar story and I feel for you! It is a very similar routine to my own! Then when you get in you have to do all the house work etc... it's never ending! I must admit, *not to jinx myself* but when I first had my accident I enjoyed my first week in hospital! It was bliss.... laid there doing sweet fa all day, people running round after me for a change and was feeling on top of the world (off face on morphine) lol!

It's terrible the run up to Christmas, but at some point, try to give yourself a rest xx

Yup, totally with you!

Can you not order your shopping to be delivered to your house?! Its a wonderful thing... at least while you are at work you can tick another thing off your list to do!! (not saying that I would EVER do this!!!)

xx

I know how you feel and i have a man that doesnt cook or do much in the house plus we live with his mother who doesnt get out of bed and when i do spend time with my horse there is a row , i work full time but i refuse to do it all and make him help after all its his mum and i have to earn all my own money, the answer is all horse yards to pay good wages then we can work at yards and keep our horses there too then we can go home after we finish , Oh HOW I WISH I WAS SINGLE and had enough income to do the lot , no such luck x

Yup! I am the same too, only I am really busy at work too, have an hours commute at either end of the day and only get three quarters of an hour lunch break! It all seems like hard work at the moment...roll on my 10 days holiday over Christmas I cannot wait!

I've got so much I'd like to be doing like shopping, wrapping, riding, housework (need to do it once in a while) chilling with friends but I'm so busy at work, doing long hours then can't be bothered doing other stuff after.

I always feel like this around this time of year and I'm not sure why?

haha i so agree with this. and when i'm at work i'm constantly thinking about all the things i need to do- planning schooling session and researching various horse related things on google! very easily distracted

my last year of uni (graduated this year) was spent walking dogs, doing horses etc and loved it... didnt have time to do work but at least could fit it around horses
