Ever seen a BP Swain like this?

In searching for a new saddle, I fell across this BP Swain. I've never seen anything like it?
It looks like a mono flap with very curious panels!
He said it was made 6-7 years ago. He said the broad panels were to distribute the weight over the lumbar area for a heavier rider?
Does anyone know what kind of tree they put in these saddles (flat, banana, etc)? Thank you!

If you want a Barry Swain dressage saddle I've got a lovely one that I can't seem to sell. Adjustable tree, currently wide, 18" buffalo hide, as new because the horse died within weeks of having the bespoke saddle.
 
Ooh, how interesting, looks like it would spread the weight well with those big wide panels and the unusual straps I’m guessing are to stabilize it.
My only concern is that it’s very niche and you would struggle to find a home for it if it doesn’t work.
Otherwise, why not give it a whirl?
 
Was trying to think what it reminded me of - the Solution Native Smart treeless one, or whatever it’s called.
Is it treeless by any chance??

He has not said it's treeless. I believe it's a monoflap though, which is why there is no flap underneath and the girth straps come out at the base of the flap.

That's my fear as well. I'm trying to fit an Irish Sport Horse who is more like a warmblood/tb through the withers and shoulders. She has an average wither, MW or so and she's not enormously broad through the shoulders, average or above average. BUT, she broadens through the back like a cob/draft. Her current Ideal VSD GP is causing some lumbar discomfort.

I'm in the USA, so no. I "think" if I had to resell I could, maybe not the fastest thing but there are many ladies in the area who ride those wide haflingers so it might be of interest? I'd prefer it worked for me though, LOL!
 
I dislike the way those girth straps go all the way up to the panel with no covering over them. I've had horses marked by monoflaps where the girth straps come down between two sewn together pieces of leather, I wouldn't want them straight onto the horse like that without a very thick saddle cloth.

Looking at the wrinkles below the skirt, visible from the top side and the underside views, I wonder if the flap rides up and bunches a bit?
