has a silver lining, I was supposed to be going to do dressage comp this evening and George and I had been practising especially as we were trying the hard for us prelim 10. But unfortunately my friend's lorry that we were going in broke down and we were unable to find a ride with anyone, so I was feeling a little bit fed up and disappointed

But I finished work early, originally to give me time to get ready and as it was such a glorious day George and I went out for a long lazy hack together and had a lovely time

Still a bit disappointed but there will be other shows, but sunny days are definately few and far between!

Me too, I managed to get out this afternoon for and hour or so and I thoroughly enjoyed myself, horse behaved herself and traffic on the road wasn't too bad - only met one bus so chuffed with that - and horse didn't stand up and wave at the bus either(as she normally does!)
Shame about the show but as you say plenty more, whereas sunny days seem to be rationed at the moment!

Much better to mooch about in the sunshine together - there is always another day for your test.

I am very jealous - I wanted to go out for a quiet ride, and have spent the evening loading all my eldest daughter's stuff in my car ready to ship her back to Uni at the crack of dawn tomorrow.
