I give my boys a cuddle every day, and every day my Vanner cob does something in return to make me smile, like take my hat off and stand there like a berk with it hanging from his mouth or turn round and reverse into me so that I will scratch his ample backside!!! and my old chap, who I have had since birth and he is now 25, demands hugs and kisses and I give them freely.
I lost my Welsh section A 2 months ago through complications caused by 2 severe bouts of laminitis, we'd had her since she was a yearling and she was 22 when we had her put to sleep .. heart breaking, but made me appreciate my boys so much
