Everybody, show me your ex-racers!

Wha a fabulous thread, lovely to see these ex racehorses looking brilliant and enjoying new jobs.

Wimbles- I think I'm Dangerous Brian's biggest fan, he's absolutely fabulous!

Naww thanks. I absolutely adore him but he does swing from being absolutely fabulous to absolutely ridiculous in a nanosecond! He was basically sent to try every last bit of my patience but also to make me smile each and every day! One day he will just be the best and easiest horse but I think that probably won't be for a good number of years!

This is my inky dinky boy Red Cell :D 15.1 in his shoes and a tinker personality to match his height! I've been owned by him for 6.5 years, we've had some extended time out due to injury and have been attempting dressage for the last couple of years, just starting out at Novice, attempting FSM and hoping to qualif again for the BD ROR champs, also hunt in the winter and occasionally hurtle ourselves over XC fences in the summer (SJ can be a dirty word so only do the odd small ODE).
Love him to bits and wouldn't swap him for anything despite the traumas and tantrums, his Sire is Khelyef (Grand Sire Green Desert), Dam is Montana Lady and he's now 11 and still doesn't know better sometimes :) Former flat racer retired sound at 4 (have managed to track down grooms/owners at every stage of his career and also found his full sister who sounds very alike!!!) He seems to have his own fan club at the yard and beyond and can extract treats from people who don't think they have them....

He looks brilliant and what a dressage transformation. Congrats!

Let's enjoy some more ex-racer behaviour. This is my little lady being a bit too excited about going for a trot on grass. Snort snort!
