Everyone meet Pearl!

So after meeting this little lady lusitano 3 months ago when she was 3 months old she came home yesterday!
She is amazing. Loaded and travelled perfectly, has stayed so calm despite leaving mum yesterday and is just a joy to be around!
At 6 months old she is huge!! And I am so excited about our future!!!

Well the immediate future is enjoying watching her grow and be happy while still insuring good manners etc hopefully if I feel she is up to it show her in the yearling classes next year at the lusitano show. And then continue to watch her grow and be happy haha once she is backed and ready she will be my dressage horse. But mostly and importantly she will be my horse of a lifetime and ground relationship is just as important to me.

oh how lovely! She has a beautiful luso head. My friends at the RS down the road go to a lot of luso shows so I might see you both when I go to see them! Also so nice to have her from 6 months. I have had my Xas since he was 6 months old, he is now 3 and it is wonderful watching him growing up. (He's an American Curly, not a lusitano, I am not a good enough rider for them!) x

Thank you everyone! She went in the field today with my welsh mare and my sister in laws mare who were very good although they made it clear they were not ready to get to know her yet. Pearl was very sensible and kept her distance after the first telling off. She did then decide the boys were more interesting and escaped into their field but was quite happy to be caught and be put back.
Couple more photos! I know the fencing isn't ideal but the fields are seen from the yard and the yard manager is there all day and she has learnt about electric today!
