I wasn't having a dig I was just wondering if posting these things really does change anything.

Posts like this raise awareness and help build support and pressure to eradicate this cruelty. The modern internet and media savvy community is becoming very powerful...

The other thing that struck me about it all, is that this is from a country which banned horse slaughter and closed all its abbatoirs. It was stated that this was in response to public opinion. IMO that was a foolish and counter productive measure, but if they can get sufficient public outcry to do that, then why on earth can they not get up enough head of steam to deal with this abomination?

Rollkur, tying horses heads to their chests with baler twine for hours on end, hitting show horses in the face to get them to stand, beating horses with whips, wood, iron bars, locking horses rugged up to the eye balls in dark stables for weeks on end...
Have WE stopped these things?

Must say I don't like any of this either...

It was an achievement the flat shod got there but I understand it was a damage limitations exercize by the organizers as it was creating too much publicity to continue to deny entrance. The horse was never going to get a place in a million years. These are seriously committed people to this ghastly 'look'. It's a bit like rollkur defendants, for eg. who see no problems with a pretzel horse.

my blood is beyong boiling point, what upsets me most above the cruelty is the fact i cannot get to those men and beat the S**T OUT OF THEM!! omg they deserve slaughter, i wud seriously do it myself it upsets me so so sooo much to see anyone hurting an animal, how can they do that i *******ing hate that! how the hell can we stop it! we cant rot in hell you *****!!!

Everyone needs to watch the abuse video, burying your head and pretending it doesn't happen wont make it go away! Outrage and anger might.

Managed to watch most of the video and found it deeply upsetting and disturbing that these horses and being tortured to make them walk, in what looks like to me, a very unnatural way.
