Hi all,

have a Tb gelding who’s 13, have tried different feeds and percentages but everything’s fizzing him. This is my first TB.

just wondering for some recommendations on feed that will not fizz him, he will only be in light/medium work and has constantly available hay.
Thanks in advance

Is this the same one that rears when you mount? Also might have kissing spines?
Sounds like you are in a pickle.
Get a vet out for a full work up, you'll get (and have already had) many different replies to your posts this week. You need a professional in with all these issues who can advise in person.

A horse in pain, discomfort or stressed for some reason may be fizzy on no feed, it is likely the feeds are not causing his behaviour and that once he is more comfortable feeding will be less of a problem, for now give adlib hay and turnout on decent grass as much as possible until you have found out what is going on physically.
