Evision Bridles

I saw them at Olympia and was very impressed with the quality - seemed equal to Albion etc. - but never having owned one, I would not be able to comment on how they last.

The head piece is wide, but not silly wide like some of them - they have a nice gentle cut back behind the ears and the padding is slim but very soft - some of the ones with loads of padding seem a bit heavy for the poll to me, so this was a major plus.

It will probably be my next buy when my current bridle gives up the ghost as seemed very reasonably priced for the quality :)

My Andalusian/Freisan who has enormous bulbous bases this ears and does NOT like normal flat headpieces as they interfere with his ability to be expressive though his ears ( and they do not lie flat) has one which he goes very nicely in. I think they are very good value for money and the quality of the leather and stitching is good. The bridle has been used throughout this wet winter with no leeching and a quick clean brings it up like new. I would definitely recommend them.

All sounds positive so far. I'm just used to my elevator bridle which is superb quality. Evision say they use the exact same leather as elevator so it should be the same or very similar quality?

I have one, I'm delighted with it! Really good quality for the price. Excellent customer service too, the browband came up slightly too big on my boy and they swapped it for a smaller size free of charge! I'd definitely buy another.
ETA - Bob is sporting his Evison bridle in my sig!

Would you say it's the same quality as elevator/Albion etc

I'm tempted to order one as they have said I can send it back for a full refund if I'm not happy. Can't say fairer than that I guess.

I know the elevators are good quality which is why I'm hesitant is buying something else as my mare is used to and goes well in her elevator.

Only reason I'm buying a new is I want one for shows which is the havana/white on noseband and browband etc

I've never had an Elevator or Albion so I can't compare!

I'm sure you could send it back if it wasn't what you wanted, as I said their customer service is excellent.

I also have one, I got a full and the brow band was also too big so they swapped it for a cob at Olympia. I found it a bit of a faff to put together when you take it apart however it is nice quality and looks lovely on him. I find if you have a sports horse or TB, Arab type you will need a cob brow band. The bridle its self is also a fair size full so be sure to measure first and maybe give them a call and they will recommend the size you need.

Yes I'm going to measure all the pieces on my current bridle tonight as my current bridle has mixed sizes.

The nosebands look quite wide?

The price is also very different to elevator. Their bridle is £189.99 compared with Evison which is £79!

The nose band was no problem on mine, its the comfort bridle and the nose band goes through and back round before it does up. I hope that makes sense, lol.

Thanks JoClark. I was meaning the part that goes around the nose that looks quite wide and chunky. I think I will give it a try and see what it looks like.

Does anyone know if they are made in the uk? I know they use English leather.

If anything says English Leather, its a tanning process and not proof of where the leather comes from, if it were to say `made from Sedgwicks English leather`or any other known british tanneries, then you know its English leather.
