Hi all,

This company have been at a few BE events last season and there tack looks very nice for the money. Just wondering if anyone had any of their stuff and what they thought? (in particular the elastic breastplate) but any comments welcome!

I haven't got any of their tack but I agree with you georgiegirl, it looked quite nice for the money on the tradestand.

(Are you spending your money already?! ;) )

Something like that!! Its a toss up between the evison breastplate, a mark todd elastic breastplate or possible a JW one but I didnt want brass metalwork if I could help it!

Yep, I have a bridle by them and certainly can't complain for the money. They come up a bit big (not sure if the breastplates will as well). I paid £30 for the bridle, and quality is better than bridles that'd cost twice that in the shops.

Yes I have just got one of their patent ones for a dressage bridle. It looks pretty good value to be honest - was under £40. Looks smart enough on and looks decent quality compared to others that price.
I found it came up big too apart from the noseband which I had to drop below where I would like to be able to get into first hole round muzzle. My boy can take extra full in some things but certainly could not have gone bigger in this.

I wouldn't touch their stuff with someone else's bargepole! Cheap, nasty, tat!

Gosh, harsh words  I have bought a variety of bridlework off a variety of companies, I do like Kate Negus although pricey :o I saw them at Rodbaston and subsequently ordered a bridle for T's new pony (had been sharing which was becoming a pain) - all I can say is so far so good: Quality seems ok, smart bridle, will keep you posted and if it fails at a key PT moment I'll be the first to tell you all ;)

HorseyLad, on what basis do you say that? I mean cheap, yes, clearly, but the other two? Perhaps you have seen something I've missed

I have a 5 point breastplate from them and its lovely, very soft & supple. Cleans up well too. Very pleased for the price.

I've bought a few things from them, bridle, breastplate, saddle cloths. All including the leatherwork are exceptionally good quality for the price. The staff are all very helpfull and they have always said to me if you are not happy with the item bought to send it back for a refund, so worth a try and see what you think. :)
