Evison Equine curved girth....anyone tried it yet?

I went and found the shop at HOYS specifically to buy one, didn't like them much in the flesh, I'd expected them to be elasticated, so ended up with an even cheaper Equiport one. Would be interested to know if horses find them comfy though.

We looked at evison and fairfax at burghley an tbh was very unimpressed with the evison one. Stitching wasn't smooth around elbow area which is where you want the comfort, fairfax completely different league for quality and design. Luckily I have a monoflap jump saddle so justified short fairfax (with martingale attachment D-ring and strap) for both dressage and jump saddles, saying that not sure I've seen any noticeable difference in his way of going but happy with very nice, soft and good quality girth, even if I'll be paying it off the credit card til Christmas :-/

Did exactly the same! Though I would add the Equiport one seems very soft and has no attachments for martingales etc, also Im not sure it would stand up to use for hunting for long (a friend was looking and we agreed probably not the right girth flr it), but I bought for a dressage saddle :). Havent yet have chance to try it but it looks lovely :).

Hmmm interesting. I was thinking about buying one of these for my new dressage saddle (budget won't stretch to a fairfax) maybe I should reconsider. ........ anyone got a link to the equiport one?

I have a professional choice ventech girth to try but it isn't shaped behind the shoulder.

I have the stud girth version and I like it. Mine has elastic both ends though.
I haven't noticed any difference in her way of going, but I only use it to jump and I doubt her front end technique could get any better! I haven't used the fairfax version so can't compare there.
In my opinion it is exactly what I'd expect a cheap copy of a fairfax girth to be, I'm happy enough with it.

I have the evision short stud girth and fairfax dressage girth. The fairfax is so much softer and sqidgier. Much nicer!
