Hi everyone, so I'm in love with Elevator bridles but their price is a little bit out my league - Especially as I'm not just after a bridle! I figured if Elevator and Passier quality is amazing and Evison Equine quality is slight sub-standard I'll scrape the money together but if Evison Equine quality is good then I'll get that instead! :) thanks

I think they are good. I hate tack cleaning and my bridle had been cleaned for longer than I care to admit, however it still looks good and is nice is soft. However I am just a happy hacker so it doesn't get loads of work.

Aahhh, I'm a religious tack cleaner :) It would have to stand up to frequent use, not every day but I'm looking for either a flatwork or jumping bridle aswell as my Albion KB :)

I have the 5-point breastplate and the leather is nice enough - but not as nice as albion etc. What about the gfs event bridle?

My last GFS bridle looked completely worn like id had it for years after only a couple of months of use :( Also I found the leather quite plastic-y. Sorry I know I'm being a pain! Or do you have one and it was just my bridle? :)

the quality is good for the price - I haven't had mine long so I don't know how well it's going to stand up to being cleaned after every use.
what about kieffer? I have two and they've come up well. they get cleaned after every use :o

Ah okay, I like Kieffers but they're expensive for what they are as I think they look quite shiny and plastic-y again, sorry :( Is the leather very soft? :)

The cheaper ones are plasticy but mine was the event bridle which was more expensive and a lot softer. It is rolled also.

I have the hunter bridle - its nice quality and wasn't too stiff when i first starting using it, i clean it regular and its nice and soft now. I would buy again from them :)

Ok, did you oil it aswell? I like them but I'm so conflicted as to whether I should splash out on the Elevator/Passier/Kieffer or have some left over and buy him something else? I'm not sure! What colour is yours? :)

It's taken a few treatments to get it really, really soft but it wasn't hard/stiff when I got it, if that makes sense? I agree - it does look quite shiny compared to my elevator :o

I also had a collegiate hunter bridle that was beautifully soft for the price.

Oh, okay. Just googled that, it's nice! What colour do you have it in?:)

I have it in black but my sister has the cheaper one in brown and it is quite a nice dark havanna. From your other thread when you said your horse has a thin but long head - that is like mine:

I have moved the noseband down a little bit since then and it looks better.

Well he's stunning! That bridle looks really smart! Is that the Event one? His head is very similar to my boy and that looks great on him! It's about £120 isn't it?

Your just like me! I love my bling it really suits him though! ;)

Thank you :) yep, it depends where you buy it from! some places it is around £150ish but on others it is over £300...

I really want to get a blingy browband because that one is a bit tight because of his strange, disproportionate head but I don't think he will like it much. He is a man after all ;)!

Over £300??! I think I've found it on Eventing Stuff for £120! Is is the right one?

Also, I pity my boy for having a female owner, the bling is a must have though! He looks good in it!

That's the wrong one! It is this one:

That's the cheapest I can find it at the moment but I am sure I got mine for less than that, I think it goes on sale quite often.

I've had an Evison Elevator Bridle (not sure which one!) for almost three years and am impressed with the quality for the price. It's lovely and soft and has worn well.

Yes i did oil for the first few times to soften it up a bit - i bought the black :)
