What are people opinions on the Evo Equine bridles? I quote like the idea of the detachable throatlash, also the flash is detachable and no flash loop visible!

I liked the look of the headpiece, but the nosebands just wouldn't suit mine. They do say they are bringing out new ones, but as for when I have no idea.

A lady on my yard bought one and the noseband was far too chunky IMO, even on cob. Stuck out from the face way too much (and wasn't a bad fit).

I bought one recently and would give you a review but a month down the line it hasn't been delivered and EvoEquine have not responded to my phone call or emails asking for an update! So I wouldn't rate their speed or customer service :(

We had a bit and bridle fitting consultant come to our yard last year and she was recommending the Evo Equine bridle for my mare, as the shaped head piece is wonderful and ergonomic apparently. I really liked the idea of it being totally adjustable too, with options for removable nose band and throat lash.

However, I didn't end up buying one (I bought a Rambo Micklem instead) so I can't comment further.

This was my experience too. I ordered a headpiece, and two browbands, all non bespoke, and it took over six weeks to arrive. Despite website saying non bespoke items dispatched typically within 48 hours. Communication was very poor no timeline, no communication. Ignored emails / FB messages / phone calls. Only response I did get was when I posted on their facebook wall - which was to say my item was ready and would be posted, but took further 2 weeks to arrive. Not impressed. Was talk would give samples of tack conditioner and refund postage as an apology. My order arrived with hand written label, and no invoice / compliments slip / returns note, and no apology for the huge delay.

Not impressed at all. Delays sometimes happen, but you email and say likely arrival time, and apologise. Zero communication for over a month is very poor!

only heard good things about the design and leather quality and BAD BAD BAD things about the service so would give them a swerve!

Equiture do similar shaped headpieces and mix and match bridles.

Ive bought a headpiece from them for my last mare and worked well was very happy. I have a second hand one now for my current mare and am reasonably happy except for the noseband. She has a very chunky head so gets away with it but I would prefer something else. also I can't imagine it would fit a normal full size as she's normally xf and its almost too big on her.

I have one of their bridles, bought it a year ago. Found the service to be fine, can’t remember it being hard work.
The quality is alright, I bought it because I liked the comfort design. The noseband though is too big, I wanted a wide noseband for my HW cob, it ticked that box but it’s almost as thick as it is wide. It looks a bit silly. However it does the job, and cob goes well in it. Removed the flash attachment immediately and don’t usually use the throatlash either. Probably wouldn’t buy another unless they solved the thick noseband issue.

Another bad experience here.

Ordered back in May, arrival time came and passed with no reply to any correspondence. Lots of other people having similar issues on their Facebook page, any comments chasing for updates or poor reviews were being deleted by Evo Equine. Eventually turned up a few weeks ago but was not as ordered and damaged. Struggled to get hold of EE but finally managed to get hold of them, there were supposed to be replacement parts sent out for arrival last week but surprise surprise they have not turned up.

Now speaking to our bank to initiate a chargeback.

Disgusting experience, been ignored and mislead throughout. And it sounds like we're not the only ones. Plus to have comments deleted from their Facebook page shows sheer contempt for any sort of customer service.

Avoid this company.

I was going to come here to say avoid them too. Based on the posts on their page, the ones that haven't been deleted yet, no one has received anything they have ordered for months.

Sent the bridle back for refund yesterday which tracking shows arrived today (signed for by the owner). We've now been blocked from messaging Evo Equine on Facebook and all visitors comments asking for updates on their orders have been deleted. They've also disabled Facebook reviews.

Who knows whether they intend to refund us. We'll be following through on the charge back via our bank and issuing a complaint to trading standards.

Utter shambles. If the company actually COMMUNICATED to their customers rather than ignored, mislead and deleted comments they probably wouldn't be in this mess.

Well my bridle arrived after 2 months today and I have to say that the delay was annoying but the bridle is worth the wait. It looks very well made and the fit is great. The custom fit makes all the difference for my horse as he doesn't fit 'off the peg' bridles well at all. The extras I was offered to compensate for the delay did come too.

If EvoEquine can improve their supply chain then they will be a great option.

Just to say that I've talked to the owner of Evo Equine and it's under new management. She has been incredibly responsive so far - haven't received the bridle yet but given what I'd read about the customer feedback I was pretty stunned until she explained. She is releasing a new 'Thoroughbred' range with less chunky noseband, apparently we'll be the first to try so I can report back!

I'm sure you will be the first to try it!

I ordered one last year and it arrived very quickly. Having said that, I sent it back almost immediately as the noseband was very chunky and if you take the flash off, it's very hard to get back on again. Have now gone to the English bridle company instead.

The company was poorly run and has relatively recently been sold. I am in the middle of finalising a bridle for my horse. I cannot fault the service, Amanda has been extremely helpful and everything arrived exactly as planned. I was not happy with the noseband and headpiece, but she sent me new ones to try which are not even on the website. The leather is fabulous and beautifully made. I would recommend.

They have new designs now for every style of noseband and breed of horse. Highly really having a look on the website now and since new Owners have taken over very good customer service ?

Ah what a shame! EvoEquine have lots morse designs now and more being added. New lines to suit a wide range of horses and disciplines. Stunning bridles and new owners have really improved and worked hard. Maybe next time your looking to treat your horse you can have a look again ?

All those new posters having positive experiences...amazing.

The sceptic in me thought similar!

To me the grammar etc on their Facebook posts is off putting - it doesn’t come across as professional with typos, etc. That being said, a lady at ours has/had one of their bridles and likes it, although I’ve not had a close look at it - but she does know the new owners. They’re stocked at our local tack shop now as well but as they’re out of my price range (and I don’t need a bridle!) I’ve not really looked at them closely.

We are so sorry to hear about yr experience! EvoEquine has been bought out just after this so it’s under new management now. Your see from the reviews how well it’s managed now. We do hope you will return as a customer to experience the new designs and the service you expect.

I know the owner and the typo errors in the posts are a result of her being dyslexic. It would be a shame when you do look to treat yourself if this would put you off buying from them, as the bridles and customer service is excellent!

The Companey has been bought out now and under new management. What a shame you had this experience but if you contact the company now you have a new positive experience!

How strange this happened I love my Bridle’s from them and never have an issue ?
