Didn't they do a sanded version ?

Too late now if they did.

Options:

Double sided sticky tape.

Non slip floor paint (check if the outermost layer is structural first, I think they mostly aren't these days).

Sand it rough (ditto the check).

A light coating of contact adhesive allowed to dry (ditto check).

The hook side of stick on velcro.

I've always wondered why they do the shiny ones without a peak because most people want to use a cover and they just slide off.

Velcro strips is a good idea though.

Yes they did do a ‘rough version’ but silly me brought the shiny one. I’ve been in touch with evoke and they said to try a hat silk with the silicon grip inside or rubber band, but u can’t tell if they have that online
