Evy and Ella first show 2009 - Pictures

Took Evy to the South Suffolk yesterday, and she was thoroughly well behaved. This was her first show of 2009, and the first time ever that Ella had left the yard! They both loaded straight on the trailer, travelled superbly and stood patiently the other end waiting for our class.

Evy behaved beautifully, and little Ella was a star, waiting to the side whilst her mum performed, then trotting around with her mum afterwards.

Evy won her class, and was then reserve champion sporthorse to Moggy Hennessy, who was showing a 3yo filly. I was over the moon with my pair, and the judge seemed to really like them both.

Well done! Which one of Moggy's was it?

Wasn't one of Moggy's - she sold all her horses at the end of last season, and I have heard has only bought two 3yo hunters for this season. She was showing this filly on behalf of someone else.

Lol, don't get too excited though, I think she is showing quite a lot for other people this year!

Moggy already went champion at Newark on saturday with a hunter 3yo. I am sure she'll be at every show we go to this year!

Is the foal coloured? I think I see another white tail? What class did you show them in? I'd like to show my mare and foal but mare still a bit fat. How old does the foal have to be to go to a show? Do they have to have vaccinations etc?
