Not sure where this should be but I was pouring the oats out to drain them and two drowned rats fell out! YUCK!

Needless to say I've chucked the oats, water and buckets!

Ah well there's two Heather Mills can't milk

they are all over the place and my feed is in bins - the room is clean and swept, plus ive had poison once already, but there are mice everywhere

I know, my feed room is clean too and the oats are in feed bins but we still have loads of them around, I think thats because we have a pig and chickens, they seem to go hand in hand. What a grim death, I'm a bit pee'd off about the wasted oats and not enough time to soak anymore for today

I could open a cheese factory if I start milking the things!

i was walking along in town yesterday and heard a rustling in the bushes, had a look because i thought it was a bird - big rat dragging an apple!

Get a jack russell. My cats prefer mice or birds but Lil (who is normally found under sons quilt) is a demon where rats are involved she even ripped the front off a chest of drawers in the tack room to get at one. It just cause a few headaches when she hears the kids hamster in its wheel!

if you're putting poison down for mice and/ or rats, you need to keep putting it down daily in the same places until it stops disappearing.. that way you make sure that every rodent in the colony gets some...

then you need to be on the look out for dead ones under bales, bags even bedding! ewwwww
