I see the RoR has its own judges for its ex-racehorse classes, judges that are I understand selected by other already approved RoR judges. I'm not the most knowledgeable when it comes to showing but surely this kind of closed-shop system just leads to the same old faces always being placed with little scope for newbies to get to the top. May be it is the same for any showing organisation so I stand to be corrected if I am wrong but just making an observation.
