Ex racehorses

Can anyone give me a contact to find ex racehorses in Kent please? We are looking for a horse to suit experienced small l/w lady to hack/hunt/RC level compete. Nice person and soundness are important as I'd say this is a home for life and really want to get the 'right' one for her. Have seen a few via dealers but all seem to be project horses with a barmy price tag because they are lookers! I'm sure somebody told me that there is somebody near Maidstone who sells on ex racers but I cannot find any info.

Look for trainers local to you. Winter Jump horses will be in the process of being kicked out now if they can no longer do the job required of them and most yards try to rehome the horse without a price tag to ensure they get a good home. Some owners don't want this though and would prefer for someone to buy the horses but not all.
