Ex-racers for Sale, Yorkshire

Hi,

I am looking for an ex-racer / TB for sale. 15.1-15.3hh between 2 and 6 years old in the Yorkshire area. The cheaper the better really!
Does anyone have any idea of any or any racing yards that have some going at the moment?

They were going very cheaply at Doncaster this week at the bloodstock sales. Anyway these guys have a couple in usually.

Definitely the right county for ex racers. Always several on Horsemart.

There's a guy in Lancs who advertises a fair bit on HM - had a nice one a few months back. I have a friend who did work in racing and is always getting asked to take ones on -he was offering me one for free a month or so back. he worked for Richard Whittakers in Scarcroft near Leeds. Maybe try give people like that a call and get yourself on the list of 'contacts' for them.

Have you thought of the TRC at Nateby Lancs. Carrie Humble has a good reputation for rehoming ex racers, she is a friend of mine and all her horses are exactly what they say on the tin. They are re schooled to a high standard to do another job out of racing. Good luck.

Yup generally going for anywhere between £150 and £500, or ring round the trainers. I'm in the North East and regualry get told about freebie ex racers
