Hello all,

I am experienced and have ridden many different horses and now I am looking to get myself a horse to do a bit of everything with, some local shows and then higher if the horse has potential. Ex racers seem the way to go and I am very interested in getting one. I see a lot that are bought from the track for couple hundred then literally have nothing done with them and sold for couple hundred more so im just wondering.
Whats the best way to get an ex racer cheaply or even free if thats possible? And does anybody know of any around the cheltenham/gloucestershire area?

Thanks

You might still be best advised to go to a re-habilitation centre, where there is a selection of horses, buying a TB ex racer can be a lottery, even for an experienced rider, they really do need re -m trained and many of the flat racers may not be 100% sound
