Been delving into my TBs breeding background and watched a couple of vids on youtube of her sire winning the irish derby in 2005 :D she seems to have really good breeding background, including kings ride, in the wings, sadlers wells to name a few :D
Her full sister is racing, but shes not doing very well, looks like she is doing point 2 point racing now.
How do you find out if they did national hunt racing or flat racing? it says her sire is a credited jumping stallion yet he looks like he has done flat racing??
Sorry i dont know much about the racing world so any help would be good!!
For the record shes brill at jumping so it must come from somewhere!

Does anyone have piccies of there horse racing - and what there doing now, sort of a before and after?
My mare never raced so i don't have any of her. :D

At the races is the best place to view videos, I have a photo of Shorty racing. If you want a still pic try Healy the photographers, they have hundreds of images from racecourses all over the counrty.
You can search by course, race or horse.

I've watched mine on At The Races, it was very exciting, she once led the field for a couple of lengths! I have one photo that I got from the track photographer (at Lingfield maybe), he didn't even charge me because he felt it wasn't the best quality, but we like it.

I found quite a bit of info from the Racing Post website regarding George's previous life! I realised from that site that George is 1/2 brother to Sea the Stars! (By same Stallion) I also contacted Godolphin to see if they had any photo's of him racing and they were able to put me in touch with a lovely photographer in Dubai that had taken some pictures of his final race. (Which George won!) I was able to buy 3 amazing pictures which I have proudly on the wall in my hall for everyone that visits us to see. I was also able to watch this very race on "at the races" website. Good luck with your search.

For comedy value I popped my horses name into gettyimages, sports section ... and up he popped! "Gems Bond"! Got a fab picture, my OH bought it for me as a pressie.

He looks happier now he's retired from racing!
