Did anyone see/hear about the story in the letter printed in I think it was the 1st march HH about the ex racer that went to a new inexperienced home, and was shot two weeks later for having bavioural problems even though the owners had offered to buy it back?
i was shocked when i heard about it. 2 weeks for a TB to come from training and settle into a new home is not long enough and I know they say he had behavioural problems but give the horse a chance!!!
i am an inexperienced owner having just got back into horses after years away so i know what its like to have a horse i can't handle but I surround myself with people that are very experienced and am lucky to have their advice.
poor horse. Maybe it is better that he was shot rather than be in the wrong hands and shipped from pillar to post. just think he didn't get a chance though.
