Please do not worry
I had the same problems having moved to a new yard, mainy napping
a VERY experienced horsey friend said basically she is very intelligent and as soon as you let her win a battle she will do it forever
my mare wouldnt come out of the yard, my friend gave her a crack up the a*se she soon moved (with me on her back petrified)
She would pull to the right to spin and bolt home so i would *drag her* literally to the left and Made her go forward using legs as extra steering
Same with napping into corners in the school pull her the opposite way
I can spend hours battling however as soon as you win, she learns more and more that you are the boss
PS i was told it Has to be the owner/rider of the horse not a 'friend' riding as she will respect said friend and still take the p*ss with you
