Hi all

Saf had the physio this week and she found rather a large number of sore points

some of which might be down to my saddle, needless to say saddler coming wed to have a look, but it has me looking at saddles just in case.

What XC saddles do you like? If I had to change would prefer a single flap, if I got on with one? Have been used to Albion K2 with the big blocks

So recommendations please

Excelle's are v nice - BBs has one and I have ridden in it and rated it. However, I went for an Ideal Springbok as it suited me better - VERY VERY nice saddle, and if it had have suited P I wouldn't have bought a WOW.

As much as I love Albion saddles they do not love me as I am too long from hip to thigh.

I bought the same saddle as BB's a few months ago, and although it has taken me a while to get used to it I love it now, and so does Dexter. There is alot of clearence around the withers, lovely leather and very light.

Just would be a real change if you are used to big knee roles

Hi Holly

Always had stubens before like a brick so sure could change.
Could you let me know a price, Pm if prefer, trying to make plans worst case if have to change my saddle

I did a template sent it to Exselle after I had ordered it, and then when arrived my saddle fitter came out to fit it a bit better but she said it was fine, she would have been happy with the fit if she had made it herself so was very pleased

I love my Excelle.
It takes a bit of getting use to if you are use to big knee blocks. But I wouldnt swap it now - well only for a Butet, but tbh its as good as one of those, just half the price

For me and OH, it has to be the WOW... single flap, choice of positions, choice of colours/styles... and the flexibility of having atleast 3 saddles in one....

Great

Oooh I bought my Excelle Close contact jumping saddle about 5 weeks ago and I love it! My mare is so much softer over her back since being in it, I think the flexible tree works wonders

Thanks everyone, will see what saddler says on wed about my saddles and then will have to sell body parts to get a new one, anyone want a kidney?

Does that count as advertising? Sorry
