So, a second vet came out today. Exactly 2 months in so far from the day she was kicked. Prognosis excellent! He xrayed, 6 digital that came up instantly on his laptop. They were soooooo clear!
He says that she is healing, nothing horrid going on, no sign at all of any bone infection. Plenty of calloussing, and that will be painful whilst its happening.
She is still quite lame,so he has prescribed another month boxrest, half a danilon a day for the pain and rexray in a month. Oh, and i have to feed her a tespoon a day of limestone flour as it contains calcium and speeds up the bone healing.
I'm feeling so much more reassured.!!
