Excess saliva...any ideas

I don't think this is the cause as the vet checked these last week. She had an infection in her jaw (the space between) and has been on antibiotics but she's still dribbling a lot.

I've been reading about those. The thing is that she lives out 24/7 and lives on fibre but has just had antibiotics...how are they caused?

My horse lived out 24/7 always had access to plenty of forage but he was a very insecure stresshead type and developed ulcers. Ulcers can develop very quickly from stressful situations such as travelling or high level competing. Also from lack of fibre in the diet. That is why nearly all racehorses have ulcers. Before my horse was endoscoped he had large amounts of savilva drooling out of his mouth when ridden, he wasn't a competition horse just a hack with companions and a lovely quiet life! I would have a chat with your vet.
