Excessive salivia

The last couple of days when i've been riding George seems to be producing a lot more salivia (sorry i hope no-one's eating

) than usual. He normally has quite a wet mouth when ridden, but this is dribbling out before I even get on

yesterday he coughed at one point and we both got covered

Do you think there is something wrong? He seems his usual self, no runny nose, no temp or obvious coughing. Also i've not chnaged his bit or anything like that

i would get his teeth checked as my gelding done this when he needed his teeth done

Horses tend to produce more saliva when there is a dental issue as it seems to lubricate their soft tissue and make it more comfortable

Of course you can ask, it was Gary Singh Khakhian who has done G's teeth for the last couple of years - never had any problems....................

if gary has done it then it will have been done very very well
