Excited...can't sleep

How exciting, i still remember the excitement I felt getting my first no wonder you were having trouble sleeping photo updates are a must :)

Bought my first horse in April after 38 years of wanting (wanted from very early but still....). It is just wonderful getting to know your own horse. Couldn't believe for ages that it was up to me if I brought him in from the field and that I could go into lovely leather smelling tack shops and have a reason to buy something.

Best thing in the world (apart from children- have to say that!).

Thankfully I'm not driving...

She is a Black, 6 year old, 14.1/14.2 Welsh Sec D mare....

Needs a bit of tlc and ground work but a lovely wee project for me.

:)

Very happy for you, My darling GG (gorgeous girl) was a black Sec. D 14.3. Nightmare at first, not her fault, (long story, abuse) She passed in '07 at 33y/o, 23 years with me. Just adored her.

If you get half the joy I had in those years, with your new girl you will be very happy. :D Good Luck. and please post piccys. :D:D

Thank you all for your kinds words and stories..

2 weeks down the line and I have a totally different pony than I thought I was getting. She has totally settled and now has a herd of friends. From being stabled 22 hours a day to being at grass for 22 hours a day seems to have been the making of her.

Started on the lunge today and she doesn't seem to have forgotten much. Will try long reigning too.

Will get some pics up once, i work out how too!

Lynne & Asha.
