hi, this post also in vet forum. i am looking for a bit of advice. i currently have my two year old colt at a livery yard with mares all around. i'm keeping him entire but will be moving to my own field in a few weeks. no mares there. the problem is, right now, he masturbates a lot. any kind of stimulation, grooming etc, seems to set him off. i was told by the helpfull know it all at the yard that this could lead to infection. do i need to worry about it or is it just a two year old working out wat his bits are for? please help.
