Hi all

Although I was present at the covering of Treasure, Safs mum I never knew the breeding of the stallion other than he was a hanoverian x trakener?

Well tonight I have had an early christmas present, the stallion passed away earlier this year (sadly as he was so kind and I feel lucky to have ridden him, its not often you get to ride both the stallion and dam) and the previous owners have given me the papers (can't understand most of it as in german)

Anyway have been on all breed pedigree and this is the result

OMG my mare has Vulgan Slave in her damline as well!
This is her pedigree- so Saf and Ellie both have Vulgan Slave in the same generation! Do you know anything about him?

I have Vulgan Slaves stud card and the covering cert

He was 16.01/2h with 81/2 bone, beautiful bay, proven hurdler winning over 2 miles on the soft and 21/2 miles on firm
He stood at Chesterton Stud Leamington Spa
His Weatherbys number was 7126549 and his sire Vulgan was 11 times champion NH sire
His breading line is fab

Safs dad Jamillo jumped BSJA and also did BD when he finished jumping, he was so kind

Hope to see Ellie out and about to see if there is any likeness

Wow cannot believe that you have his stud card, so you must have bred Saf's mother as well?!

He sounds fantastic! Had no idea that he was a hurdler and that he was from such strong NH lines...thank you very much for that info!

Hopefully Ellie and Saf will meet up at some events next year!

I wish I did have Treasure (Safs mum) from a foal, was just lucky that was given all this when we got her and have kept everything safe.
