Can depend on what type of surface I am riding on, at old yard perferred to use bandages as was a predominantely sand surface and found bandages prevented any rubs. Certainly didnt use them just to look smart or professional (I have no chance of that whatsoever!)
I like to use them when i am schooling and then i can wash them when they need it to make sure that they always stay clean and don't rub. I like to use tendon boots for jumping though so they can feel if they knock a pole...
I always do. Although they are a pain to put on and take off again, I feel they offer my lad more tendon support that boots can. I am thinking about getting some Equilibrium ones - Stretch and Flex i think they are called - apparently they are very good. I always seem to be bandaging or rolling them up at the moment as he wears stable ones aswell. I am very paranoid about his legs as he works hard for me!!
