Exercise Rug - What size should I buy

I have a 15.2 chunkyish Andalusian who is quite short in the back (compact I call it) who generally wears 6'3 rugs.

I'm contemplating buying him an exercise rug for this winter even though he doesnt really need one (he's hard as nails)

Having never bought one before for any horse I've ever had, I'd like some advice with regards to what size I should buy.

I have a 4'6" thermatex one and also a Large sized Premier Equine waterproof one for my 15.2 chunky cob.
I prefer the fit of the thermatex one to the PE, as the PE doesn't seem deep enough.

For 6'3 I've gone 4'9 and fitted well

I bought a 4'6 for my 15.2 mare (Selle Francais) - she's normally a 6ft. Tbh I wouldnt have wanted it to be any bigger!
