How do you measure for an exercise sheet? 16.2hh WB x TB if that helps? Also i dont really tend to ride in the rain so waterproof is not needed, however if i go for a fleecy type one do they suck up moisture on damp misty days?
Thanks

I've got a cheap rip off 'Newmarket' golden striped exercise rug which I use. My horse is a 17.1hh dutch WB and he has a 5ft one - I think 4ft 6 is the cob equivalent and 4ft 9 - 5ft for full size. I fold the sides back at the front of the rug under the girth straps next to the skirt of the saddle. This offers more security than putting the girth of the saddle through the loops of the exercise rug I have always found. I used to canter and jump in mine without a problem, but they do move a little so you need to check they are sitting straight every now and again.

Another vote for equafleece from me! They're great - made of waterproof fleece so they wick moisture away from the horse if it sweats and don't rustle or get clammy like a normal waterproof/ fluro ones.

Has to be a wrap around one for me to keep my thighs warm (never mind the horse!). I have a Mark Todd fleece, although wondering whether I should splurge and get the thicker and warmer coolex material!
