I has one
I completely cocked up the times of our training session today, and showed up an hour early
I was all set to go for a wander, but our trainer said to join the group class before ours as she thought it would be good for him
He was very well behaved, there were 11 of us in the class, mostly pups of 10-12 months old so all fairly boisterous! We were doing lots of synchronised heelwork on the lead, and then group sit and down stays, all of which he nailed
We then had an hours 1-2-1 afterwards, so he is now thoroughly shattered and is flopped on the sofa
From now on we are going to join that group, and just have 1-2-1 lessons as and when if we hit a problem
The plan is that the whole group will start doing retrieves (there are quite a few labs in the class) which will be very good for Henry! They will also all get introduced to shots (in an area like this, it is a good idea to have your dog steady to shots even if you don't ever shoot, I think, as there are so many shoots about).
I am very proud of him
