I'm a bit confused...is it still possible to get one of these things and does anyone know where my local stockist would be. I have googled it and they still seem available but I thought the original company had sold the patent to RDA?

Yes, still available, afaik Woof will be able to tell you your nearest stockist. Where are you? Welland valley feeds in Mkt Harborough were my closest stockist and sold me mine.

I'm in Barnsley, South Yorkshire but would be willing to travel for one of these. Do you use yours just for xc or everyday schooling, how restrictive are they compared to normal protectors?

i only use mine for xc, i use a Kan for backing and schooling the young horses. if you contact Woof they will be able to tell you your local stockists, then it's a case of ringing round and seeing who has your size (size chart on the website).
it isn't restrictive at all, once i get it on i totally forget it's there.

Wow thanks both of you - I'm going to get one of these, was hoping it would be comfy (so am pleased it sounds it) but safety comes first anyway! That thief who robbed me of my £8 and my cash card has actually done me a favour - I have been spending OH's money all week so will have plenty spare for the Exo now
