My fiance and I are looking for an equestrian small holding, 10 acres, 10 stables, menage, hay storage, the usual. We would like at least4 bedroom house, new build or old, budget around $700k cash. Currently living in London, although I have just returned to the UK, looking all over the place from South west, to Midlands. Any suggestions on the best places or communities to check. Thank you.

Hi and welcome.
I suggest starting a 'search for a property thread' in the club house, there are many on here who love a property hunt.

Welcome home. I would imagine that many things have changed whilst you were away, how are you finding it? Good luck with the property search!

Welcome back! The best thing to do would be to start a property thread in the club house, as nagblagger said people do love a property hunt. I bought a new house last year with similar requirements, there are properties out there but you might need to widen your search area with your budget. There are also a lot of equestrian property Facebook pages it would be worth joining. Rural Scene, Fine and Country, Savills, Fox and Grant, McCartneys and RELD (although I dislike them immensely) are good estate agents to follow/give your requirements to as well.

I wish you luck, but if you mean $700K US dollars as you have put, (so approx £550K), you may struggle in that area?. You may need to look further afield to get the house/acreage/facilities that you want.... even at £700K it will be tough if you want them in good condition.

Hello,
Welcome to the forum.
You'll find that property gets cheaper the further north you go (with the exception of a couple of hot-spots ).
Also "equestrian" costs a premium! If you also look at smallholdings & be prepared to build stables or convert farm buildings, you might find more choice in your price range.
As has been said, start a thread for suggestions, we all love a property hunt! :D
