Expected height of a 21/2 year old

I was wondering what height my horse may finish , He is standing 15hh at the moment and is 2 1/2 yrs old 3 this april 2016 , he has 81/2 in of bone and in 6ft rugs , thank you in advance

lol, it's anyone's guess. Do you know the heights of his sire and dam - they give you a clue (although not much of one.) One of my foundation mares was 15.2 - she had 10 foals - all by the same stallion who was 17hh. The smallest ended up 15.3 - the biggest 18hh (and the 18hh one showed NO signs of being THAT big when he was 21/2)

My now 3½yo was standing just over 15hh last November. He's now a good 16.2hh and butt high, in 6'3" rugs and still gangly. Dam 15.2½hh, sire 16.1hh - go figure!

Mine was 13.3hh at 2.5yrs old and is now a whopping 14.1 and a half at 5.5yrs old. Both mum and dad were 15hhs.
