Very good choice.Thank you everyone for your replies. I’ve put my head back on and decided to get one over here. As I would be very annoyed at myself if it wasn’t right for me plus I can’t justify paying the £11000 for it. No matter how ‘perfect’ it is. Got a 7 year old coming on trail for 2 weeks in a weeks time so fingers crossed it’s the one. Plus it’s £4000 cheaper and a nice Idxtb type
I know a few who've bought perfect cobs from Ireland with hours of videos of them doing everything and in reality they were very green and low confidence and must have been ridden by exceedingly good and confident rider and been selective on the videos. Which is fine, they're not lying, but this type appeals to first time owners, those who've lost their confidence or just people who want a quieter life.
If you want a bombproof cob you do need to go and try them.
On price mine is all this, good bloodlines and very pretty but only 14.2 so cheaper - was 7k during covid.
