Thanks K, will give it a whirl and at least I don't have to worry about him taking off after a fence as he just takes them in his stride and pretty much keeps the same pace throughout, not in his nature to take off :p

Brilliant and well done you, sounds like a great day and a great result and a double clear to boot - woo hoo!

I did my first ODE at the w'end and a bit of a cricket score in the SJ but what an amazing feeling crossing he xc finish line :)
 
Thanks guys that means a lot as I have worked very hard on my lower leg the last couple of years :D and yes we do now feel like a proper partnership too :)

Thanks TBH that run has filled me with confidence for Stafford as I believe they have changed the XC course for this event. And I don't think we'll ever get a frilly at BE as our dressage is too rubbish for that, but nice to know we can sometimes pull ourselves up with a good SJ and XC :D
