As above really-my 6year old Wb has had bone scans and X Ray's to confirm the above. No indication of any nerve impingement etc but his back ligamament is strained due to the inflammation in the area. So has 2 weeks of box rest and bute 6 weeks of walking I hand, 6 weeks building his trot back up on the lunge before we're back for rescans of his back-Newmarket have said initial rehab is to rest the back ligament to get that going again and then his neck will need work to rehab.
Has anyone had any experiences with this in such a young horse and what this could mean for his future career?
